American immigration law is complex; here we discuss two types of "special” cases which we handle regularly: healthcare professionals and "investor's green-card" ЕВ-5.
1. Healthcare professionals.
Three professions in the field of healthcare have special rules established for them for employment-based immigration. For physicians (M.D.) – the rules are deliberately more difficult; these "artificial barriers" to the immigration of foreign physicians are actively lobbied by the powerful American Medical Association (AMA).
The rules are easier, however, for nurses (RN) and for physical therapists because there is a long-felt shortage of those professionals in the United States.
2. "Investor's Visa" EB-5.
American immigration law creates special incentives for foreign investors who invest in the creation of new jobs in the United States. A special quota of "green-cards" is allocated for aliens willing to invest $1,000,000 or more in the US economy (and in some cases, less). It is a fast and proven way to obtain permanent resident alien status. If, however, you cannot invest such large sums of money, we might be able to offer you another - less expensive - alternative.
